BTTR Misty
Misty was a show heifer on our farm and has a great attitude. Misty has a great walk and was a wonderful first-time mother. With no assistance needed. Misty is sired by WL Genesis who is a powerful silver bull, and HMS Lady Olive, another great foundational cow on our farm. Olive and Misty have been on the front website page of AHCA and NCHCA website for quite some time now.
Sire: WL Genesis
The son of Angus the 8th of Dunvegan, imported from Scotland was an extremely long bull who was a great representative of Scottish character. Genesis’ dam is Black Watch Portia, a fancy silver cow that was shown extensively, Genesis was 70 lbs. at birth, 725 lbs. at one year old, 1,145 lbs. at two years old and currently weighs 1,560 at 34 months.
Dam: HMS Lady Olive
Olive is one of our foundation cows. Olive has produced a great calf every year. Olive has great struture and is a large Highland Cow. Olive is sire by DH Dalton who is from Gilchrist Kodiak the 1996 GC Bull.
